You don't necessarily have to re-write the instructions. You could
use your ICT skills and do some copying and pasting onto the
template, which I have e-mailed to my Aunt Edwina, or onto a sheet
of your own design.

You can change the font, use bullet points and, maybe, use some
sub-headings to group instructions that are about similar ideas.
- Some of the instructions
could be rewritten to combine several
pieces of information.

I think that, if you could present the instructions on an A4 poster,
then the leaders of the trek could have it laminated for people to
keep in their rucksacks.
- If you don't
want to use the template, you could use one of the photos
I've sent back home to illustrate your poster.
