For a small
island (well, compared to Australia, it looks tiny), Tasmania
has lots of interesting places to explore. If you go back through
my diary, you can pick out the names of the places I visited.
Before
I went there I used a web site to help give me information and
I found it really useful. It splits the island into different
areas and you can click on the pictures and names of places to
find out more. There are special symbols to show you when there's
some video to watch or when there's a recording to listen to.
The
site also has its own search engine, but remember to put inverted
commas around your words if you want an exact match. Visit the
site to find out more about my travels. Most of the photographs
are copyright-free as long as you just use them in your classroom.
Just right-click and choose the option to "save picture as"
to store them onto your computer.
