When we were travelling back to Cebu we passed loads of villages where the palm trees, banana trees and houses had been flattened and the road had collapsed in loads of places - it really puts our British 'storms' into perspective. It was such a shame as the countryside was so pretty with all the rice terraces and clusters of thatched huts. The next few days are going to be very busy travelling from Manilla in the Philippines to Hong Kong and from there to Bangkok in Thailand.
