Arrived in New Zealand yesterday afternoon. I had to catch a flight out of Launceston (Tasmania) at 6.30am and so that involved getting up at 4.45am - and you guys think it is easy to travel! I am in Christchurch at the moment and it is really cold and raining, about 5 degrees Centigrade! Brrr! Christchurch is on the South Island and it seems like a really friendly place with an 'English feel'. I could almost be at home as I am staying in Hereford Street, which is next door to Worcester Street, and there is a river Avon running through.
