That evening we went to a local hotel and watched the Rapa Nui performing their traditional dancing. It was quite clear that their style of dancing had come from the Polynesians.
The following day we explored the quarry where the 'topknots' for the Moai were made and saw the lone Moai that faces the soltac and some lava tubes. These lava tubes were huge - the one we went through was 300 metres long!
