After we unpacked and had a cup of Jasmine tea we went for a walk to the Temple of Heaven, which was built in 1420. This was very interesting but the weather was cold and we were tired after the journey, so we returned to the hotel and had an early night.
Whilst we were in China we visited the Great Wall of China, which was built in the 5th century BC and work continued up to the 16th century AD. Today if all the bricks used were made into a wall 5 metres high and I metre thick it would circle the earth more than once. It was quite steep in places and there were a lot of steps - my paws began to ache so Serena carried me in her rucksack for the rest of the journey.
