Well, I enjoyed my BBQ crocodile and buffalo burgers and am now in Cairns in Northern Queensland. Since my last diary we have travelled from Darwin to Alice Springs and had three days at Ayers Rock (Uluru).
Unfortunately our tour of Darwin and Alice Springs turned out to be a disaster as it was the wet season and all the rivers were too flooded to go canoeing as we had planned. We stayed at a pub that night and had the shock of our lives when we discovered two tree frogs and a cane toad in the toilet. The cane toad was the size of Serena's fist and most of my body - and also poisonous!!
