The rest of the visit was a bit of a nightmare. We wanted to get to Taman Negara National Park, and although it didn't look very far on the map we just couldn't get there! There were no roads!! Eventually we found someone who was willing to take us by boat.
After a journey of three and a half hours we reached one of the oldest rainforests in the world -130 million years old. Can you believe it!! We went for a short walk and saw the most enormous spiders and scorpions - I wonder why everything here is so big!
