I survived the episode with the water snakes - luckily for me they swam off, obviously didn't like the look of all my fur! Since then I have visited Kuala Lumpur. I can hear you saying where on earth is that!! Well, it's actually in Malaysia and we had booked to go to the Cameron Highlands where the tea plantations are found. Unfortunately, it meant more walking and climbing !!!
Lucky I bought all that gear while I was in Thailand, including some sore paw cream, so Serena didn't have to carry me so often. The climate up in the mountains was much cooler (about 16 degrees centigrade) than the jungle which we had to trek through, and when we saw all those tea bushes stretching up the sides of the valleys it was beautiful and well worth sore paws!!
