One of the places I wanted to visit while I was here was Yellowstone Park. Unfortunately, I ran out of time. If I had gone there, I would have been able to see North America's largest living mammal, the bison. Would you believe that in the 1820's there were more bison here in North America than people!
This month, please could you do some research for me and find out as much as you can about the American bison (or buffalo as it is sometimes known). You'll need to decide all the different things that you want to find out about them, like where they live, what they eat and why they almost became extinct.
